PROGRAM
INTRODUCTION
More often than not,
the norms of social and business etiquette turn into a nightmare, for
business executives. In a culturally different environment a lot is at
stake on issues of cultural sensitivities. Common courtesies and
etiquette, the dress code, the unfathomable menu etc., can sometimes make
social interaction not so pleasant. This leads to a distinct feeling of
discomfort or a feeling of inadequacy.
Learning Culture is a
kind of leaching process. It takes time and experience to be culture
savvy. Yet training on culture prepares a business executive through
greater awareness of the cultural nuances.
OBJECTIVES
OF THE PROGRAM
Such learning
interventions enhance the confidence & control leading to a higher degree
of adaptation and hence a proactive—rather than a reactive-approach. The
goal of the workshop is to orient and instill this confidence in a manager
and make him feel comfortable in dealing with all aspects associated with
the social and business spheres of his work, both in India and abroad. At
the end of the program the participants will learn
