The voice sample is
compared with a standard sample and its fidelity vis-ŕ-vis the
standard sample is measured on the following parameters |

Phoneme Fidelity:
Phoneme is the basis of sound (Clarity & Pronunciation)
» Whether the diction of the agent is clear both to QA
specialist and the customer i.e. words are clearly enunciated;
not eaten up.
» Accent close to the received pronunciation (RP) |

The tool evaluates
the % correctness of pronunciation vis-ŕ-vis the standard and
also the % correctness of accent vis-ŕ-vis the standard. |

Intonation:
Whether the agent’s voice was modulated i.e. too flat or too
sings song.
» Has too many pauses
or fillers i.e. uh huh, ummm, etc. |

The tool evaluates
on the Voice modulation of an individual vis-ŕ-vis the standard
and also on the excessive pauses or fillers. |

Rate of Speech:
Whether agent’s Rate of Speech is around 120-150 words per
minute and has adequate pauses |

The tool assesses
the agent’s rate of speech vis a vis the standard. |

Loudness:
Whether the agent is audible to the customer: Too Loud; Too Soft |

The tool assesses
the pitch of the agent vis a vis the standard. |
